Vincent Pallotti was born in Rome on April 21, 1795, and
died there on January 22, 1850. He founded the Union of
Catholic Apostolate including the Pallottine Fathers,
Brothers, Sisters, and laity. His body rests in the Church
of San Salvatore in Onda. He was beatified on January
22, 1950, and canonized on January 20, 1963. |
